Library

The library of the Madrid Department holds more than 60,000 volumes (monographs and over 450 current periodicals) and a small collection of other media (microfiche, CD-ROM, video). The thematic emphasis is the archaeology of the Iberian Peninsula from prehistory to the end of the Islamic period.
